Welcome to Norm's Radio
CLASSIC GOLDEN AGE RADIO
Check out our superb offering of Golden Age Radio programs by clicking the LISTEN pushbutton above. That starts the automatic streaming of continuous classic programs. Push the ARCHIVES button and you'll be taken to a list of program choices - with multiple choices within a title.
We have a nice selection of programs waiting for you. We added new programs last week --Gunsmoke, some Tom Mix, and three Morton Downey songs. Next well be adding some 1930s Little Orphan Annie and Flash Gordon. We stream at 64kbps -- twice and more than the speed and quality you'll hear elsewhere on the Internet. We're glad you're here. I'm sure you'll recognize that I'm not after your wallet. I offer Golden Age Radio because those programs meant so much to me growing up and I want to bring some nostalgic joy to other seniors like me. And I also want to show the kids under 50 a part of our culture they missed.
NORMS DAILY RAMBLIN
If everything is normal, I write a new "Norm's Daily Ramblin's" each day. I take the time to do it because I enjoy the process and a few friends and relatives look forward to it. You reach this page by clicking the link below titled DAILY RAMBLIN's. You'll find out about Atlanta weather, general news, off-the-wall information, humor, sports, the arts, wonderful nature photos, and even some personal stuff. Today, my son has an incredible story of how a penguin was found in Alaska and we're featuring the I Love Lucy Show, with a complete virtual 360 degree tour of the show set
Writing the Ramblin page every day is great therapy and keeps me from having to write my family more than I do. The other facet of why I go to the trouble of providing such a high end, professional site like this is, as I already said, bring some joy to "old farts" like me as well as allow Baby Boomers and younger to hear some of the Golden Age they missed and to share my personal faith in a living, loving Creator God. Bless you. We're glad you dropped by.
